Aunt Claudia's Dolls and Their Friends

Aunt Claudia's Dolls and Their Friends is the large collection of Claudia Kelsey's dolls and miniatures and has recently incorporated the studio and doll collection of Mary Ellen Frank. There are over 500 dolls and miniatures collected from all over the world by the Kelsey family over a period of 80 years, with some from the 18th and 19th century. The collection curator, Douglas doll artist Mary Ellen Frank, host the museum with the collection owner, Bea Shepard.

Kelsey's collections have been featured in three Holiday shows at the Alaska State Museum and another in the City Museum annex at the Davis Log Cabin. The work of Mary Ellen Frank has appeared in a solo show at the Alaska State Museum and works have been included in the permanent collections of local, national and some international museums and corporate collections.
